I replaced Lyrica with cannabis... no more lyrica, no more side effects,  pretty much 0 pain during the entire day and night, and when there is some pain, it is insignificant in compare to before (and does not happen often, normally is down to 0)

Holding my wife´s hand could be painful for me for extremely finger pain. Now I am even going to "range school" (for the lack of a better name) with my wife to shot with a bow and arrows...

Good-morning!  I've been on Lyrica 75mg, two caps three times a day for three years now, for pain.  I also use it for The "off-label" use of anxiety and depression.  I find it works well for all three symptoms, pain, anxiety and depression.  I found that I did gain weight on lyrica at first but after a few months of being on it my weight went back down to what I was before.  I have tried amytriptilline and I did not like the side effects either!  I felt sick and drowsy all the time.  I prefer my lyrica for pain to anything else I have tried both narcotic and non-narcotic.  It's totally up to you what you decide, but you have to do what is best for you.  I would try staying on the lyrica a bit longer, what is a few pounds compared to suffering in pain everyday?  You have to weigh the pros and cons.  I hope everything works out for you, good-luck!

I take now 200mg lyrica instead of 400mg but it's so not enough for the anxiety am asking to be put back up to 300mg daily as that worked for the anxiety best. I can't take ampitripilene because I'm on Lithium but my husband was on it years ago and he was like a zombie next day it just wiped him. Maybe a low dose is okay but I mistakenly took a 50mg one night thinking it was my thyroid tablet and I was wiped the next day. Think it depends on the actual dose. On 10mg you should be fine.

I know we're your coming from about the weight gain on Lyrica..me too..That's reason I decreased wanted off it altogether but can't do it because the anxiety returns.
