Worried about chest pain and chest tightness

Hi guys, my biggest fear is getting a heart attack. Every pain around my chest will make me worry. I had 3 ECG and 1 stress test done 6 months ago and everything came back fine. My chest starts to feel pain and tight on and off for about a week. Sometimes my face and neck will turn red suddenly and disappear within seconds. Also, whenever I stand, I cant breathe properly which gave me tight chest. Can someone please reassure me!

Sorry to hear about what you are going through. I started having tightness in my abou today a week ago and it gets me worried. If your ECGs and stress test showed nothing, then the tightness is probably from anxiety. Try to get good rest.

No, you need to reassure yourself that the tests showed you not to have a heart problem.

How is your digestion ? That is the cause of many chest pains that mimic heart conditions as wind puts pressure in your hear area.

My digestion isn't that good but I've been checking my pulse non stop. I'm not sure why my pulse gives slightly irregular beats which worries me even more.

Probably not in your case but digestion problems can affect your vagus nerve and cause an irregular heart beat but the ECG was normal.

I had similar symptons recently and was told it could be Pericarditis or symptons of IBS.

Advice was pretty poor and i have been resting.

I would suggest taking things easy for a week or two
