Worried about herpes.

So a few weeks ago on the 28th of April I had unprotected sex wth a woman and before I did it with her she said she was clean. I gave her oral sex and raw vaginal sex and the next day I had Cold sores on my tongue and I had tingling sensations on my penis on the underside. I kept looking at it and never saw anything until I looked closer and saw actual lesions they were really small but lesions none the less. The doctor said it was most likely herpes since I had cold sores right after that night.  I got a test done for STDs such as chlamydia and herpes and pretty much everything on may 3rd . As I waited for my results my anxiety and stress worsened. I started getting “itchy” sensations on my tongue and on my penis. It burned here and there as well. I was given the antiviral meds and I took it everyday since and things got better.  from Today on the 10th of may I got my results back From the doctor and she said I was negative on everything even for herpes type 2. I’m confused and I’m still not sure what’s going on.. today I woke up and my tongue was still tingling and it feels “itchy” and it was whiter than normal. Someone please help me.. I’m so clueless and scared. I don’t feel the “lesions” on my penis hurting me that much anymore but still... I can’t help but feel like I still have it..

    1. Test done too early. Generally the tests are done after 3 weeks.

    2. A vagina contains several viruses and bacteria which a girl will never know because they don't do any damage to her.

    3. It's still too early but my guess is that you just got an infection from her which gave you the sores, it happens sometimes , the infection goes away after medications and there is nothing to worry about. Also, if you have also shaved your pubic hair before the intercourse , those sores can also a result of that as shaved area open pores which attracts infections.

So, my suggestion is don't worry and get the test done after 3-4 weeks which I am 100% sure will come negative. Don't get too much on the internet also.

    Regards.

I went to the doctors a few weeks ago and she had told me that I have to wait 3 months to get tested for an accurate reading. Im still very anxious and at the same time afraid because now my urethra is always burning for no reason. I was given medication for my tongue that’s treats “fungal” infections and that had seemed to work. The thing that’s worrying me the worst is the “burning” sensation in the urethra. I try to ignore it but it’s bothering me a lot now. What could it be?
