Worried about lump

Hi 🙂

i discovered a pea sized lump inside my tounge last year I went to the doctor and they said it was nothing to worry about they said i had big viens in my tounge and that's what i was feeling but the lump has got bigger and now there's a smaller lump beside it it's definitely not a vien i can feel the lump if i run my teeth over my tounge i stopped smoking last year after smoking for 10 years im constantly worrying about the lump i cant get a doctors appointment til over 2 weeks away my uncle has terminal cancer and my other uncle died last year of cancer aswell so im over thinking and worrying i may have cancer does anyone know what the lump could be..

    Sounds very odd. tongue cancer usually starts with sores that dont heal and as you have had this a year I dont think its cancer.If you had said they were under your tongue then I would think blocked salivary gland but I dont think thats what you mean.Blocked taste buds maybe?As another lump has appeared do go back to your doctor. You may need a biopsy.
