Hi everyone been given lyrica for my anxiety. It's got to the stage where I don't really like leaving the house! I've tryed everything, even starting tryin illegal drugs to deal with it! I ended up on heroin for 5 years which I'm now clean of, thank god! The withdraws were so bad it took a while to get off! Neway I worried that I'm gona have to go thought the same thing again on lyrica after reading about?? If lyrica took away my anxiety I wouldn't mind staying on it. The only other thing that helped a bit was valuim but ended up getting hooked on that and needed more and more! So ended up getting off that. Can neone please help

    Hi Luke,

I am taking (600mg a day) for fibromyalgia which is a sort of chronic pain,I have been on this dose for over a year now and I think they do work for anxiety too because I started to notice that when I have been in a lot of situations where I would have been shy or panicy I just have not been bothered at all
