Worried I may have herpes

So about three days ago I noticed at the top of my buttocks/bottom of my spine I had what felt like a strange like bump. I took a picture with my phone so I could see what it was. It looked like a few yellowish blisters together. Smooth to the touch and they didn't hurt or burn or itch. Yesterday I took another pic and it seemed a little worse looking. Today I took a picture and it looks as though they are popping and just now are starting to itch just slightly (as though a your clothing tag is rubbing your skin ) I have been googling since day one and think this my be herpes any advice would be helpful. Haven't had Harvard with anyone but my husband of 4 years (been together 7) I want to go to the doctor but don't yet have insurance and not a lot of money.

I was diagnosed with genital herpes in February. I'm currently taking valtrex for suppressive therapy twice a day. On Wednesday I noticed small like itchy pimples on my lower back. They're not clustered like and I don't think it's body acne. I was never one to have that. I too went searching on Google and came across sacral herpes. From what I understand people who get that usually have genital herpes. I'm just getting over a cold which may have triggered an outbreak there. In your case I do hope it's not, but if so, I highly recommend Lidocaine for the itching. Best gel I've had prescribed to me! Hope this helped and you're able to get checked soon.

Thank you! Yes I came across that as well. My husband and I both agreed that it does look a little similar to some of the photos we saw but nothing at all like others. If I do have it, given that we have unprotected sex, will he also have it?

It's hard to say if he does. The only way to be sure is for him to get a blood test that checks for antibodies. I'm not sure where you're located but there's a place called Any Lab in my area that's tests for herpes 1 & 2 for a very reasonable price. You can also go to your local STD clinic. Just be sure they do the IGG test. That is proven to be most accurate.
