Worried red spot on glans any help please!

Really hoping someone can help me, wife claims she had a yeast infection, couple weeks later we had sex, i also for whatever reason around the same time masturbated 4 times in a day. Might have been the next week or week after On nov 21 i noticed this spot. Theres no ulceration, no discharge of any type and is not painful or itchy. I have been known to get jock itch type psoriasis and am otherwise a healthy 40yo.
The spot is still there today and is a little smaller maybe but looks similar to when i noticed it? It almost looks like a hemangioma but is soft. There is no firmness to it whatsoever it feels like skin, i can barely feel the raised ish area that it has caused. Dr appt is later this week but anxiety is already through the roof. So as of now it almost 6 weeks and looks similar. Another pic with the flash makes it look wet but is not. Theres no actual break in skin no bleeding no pus again no pain.
If i spread the skin out i dont see any indent and it looks like blood under the skin.

Obviously you will need to get the Doctor to check this. A relatively mild steroid based ointment MAY be all that is needed to help this heal completely.
If you can post an update once you have seen a doctor and specify whether any medication was prescribed, that would be helpful .....

Thanks for the reply, seen the doc, he took a look, hes not quite sure but said it didnt look like any kind of std. Lab work came back all clean too. It looks like there some skin peeling happening now so hopefully its clearing up. He is sending me to a dermatologist for a full checkup.
Another pic on this site had me convinced i had an std. This should serve as another great reminder to anyone reading this, dont be too embarrassed to get checked out. And never try to self diagnose with google, you will go CRAzY!!! Hell in todays world you can order an anonymous test sent right to your door and get meds if needed.

As the rest of my results came in im also hyperglycemic. Still going to remain hopeful that with a diet change and proper workouts i can better control this. I will be the first to admit I have been consuming way too much sodas and not enough water. This spot has scared me into better health.

Thanks for the updates and your thoughts and observations - particularly about the pit-falls of self-diagnosis.
Can I suggest an update once you have seen the Dermatologist

Dermatologist appt finally last Friday. I wish I could say it put me at ease. After a look they said it looked like eczema. I was quite anxious and a bit upset attempting to explain what I had gone through the last 2 months. I already have high anxiety to start. After saying it was most likely eczema they still did a biopsy which is why im right back to flipping out in my mind. Im under the impression that eczema and lichen planus, which was brought up as they were performing the biopsy, would both cause itching? This spot hasnt caused any discomfort other than mentally. Any words to help me calm down are appreciated but i dont think i can until I have the results.

The biopsy seems to have removed the entire area that is shown in my pics. Just have a scab there now as it heals. I was prescribed Mupirocin 2% for it to heal. I just want to calm down and get back to living as i am still consumed by this.

You are doing the right thins by getting the dermatologist to check out what you have going on. The important thing is getting the results and then you can take any pro-active approaches that may be possible - such as how to treat, control or help prevent the issue from showing again.
Itching is most often caused by what the penis is in contact with - this is most often simply soap and other body wash and a failure to fully remove moisture after urinating or washing or showering.
As you are using the Mupirocin it would be best not to apply anything else - simply wash and fully rinse then dry the entire penile skin prior to applying the Mupirocin
Stay with the positive - so you have mentioned the diet change and doing workouts: it is best to think of a number of positive actions - from looking at the kinds of suitable foods you are best to eat, if you cook yourself, think about looking up recipes online, buying and preparing the ingredients and so on - to actually sitting down and trying some of them.
Fitness levels are not simply about doing workouts - you need to think how likely it is that you would actually do things like gym workouts anyway. If this is unlikely you need to think of a broad range of things in which you can simply be active, and these can be simple. Such as walking, cycling or running if that is appropriate for you - once you engage in these kinds of things you can allocate times to do this and then build on the amount of time you actually engage in doing them in practical terms - building on distances, that kind of thing.
Remember, there is a free gym outside your front door, all you need to be active is the right pair of shoes and the dedication to stick at it

Thanks for the reply. I am so concerned now that this is a cancerous lesion. My mind just will not let go of it. I am scared as hell and dont want to lose my penis.

There is no itching or burning or pain of any type, that only adds to my concern. i can only hope if it is what I fear that I caught it early... it just doesnt sit well with me at all. Im so concerned the derm told me it might only be eczema to try to get me to calm down. I would rather have heard straight forward what it could be instead of hearing them charting to determine eczema vs lichen planus vs SCC. This is going to be the longest couple of weeks of my life and im exhausting to be around. Not good for me or my family.

Biopsy results came in and are all normal. Turns out to be a contact dermatitis. I cant say for sure what caused it but I feel much better knowing its not more serious.
I have seen a few other posts where some were concerned over having a biopsy done on this area. While its not pleasant its really not that painful. No more pain than getting a shot. My dermatologist did not use any type of numbing material. I asked and they could have used a numbing shot but that would have been equal amounts of discomfort.
Bottom line do not be scared and do not be ashamed. Take care of your body and your penis its the only one you have.
I will say there is no helping the fear in waiting out the unknown except to stay as busy as possible and not focus on it. That is much easier said than done. Its easy to go down the anxiety path, too easy. I was like a yo-yo from good moments to absolute terror. Workouts and finding clean eating recipes is what i tried to focus on and staying buried in work. Thanks wee for your kind words and support.

Happy to know it is nothing serious.
My Dr. also suggested biopsy if the current treatment doesn't resolve my rash. (probably after 1 month from here).
I feel very anxious when i think of biopsy. But I'll do it, if its need to be done.
Did biopsy left any scar on your glans?
As per your Dr., how long will it take to cure from biopsy scar?

It has been a week ago today so for now theres still a scab where they did it. For me the entire area that was red in my photos is now a pretty standard looking scab like anywhere else on the body. I am a stomach and side sleeper and i roll around alot so some of the scab comes off at night. No major bleeding at all, as soon as i put the prescribed ointment on it forms a scab within minutes. I would imagine there will be a scar there but very minor if that. They say about 2 weeks to heal, im guessing a bit longer cause of the way i sleep.
I freaked myself out when they were laying me down to do it, yet it was just discomfort and over fairly quickly. Again it feels like getting a shot, no worse than that. To put it on a pain scale of 1-10 id call it a 6.5 but only for a second. I scrolled your post as well, id do the biopsy. Seems like you have been through enough. might as well make sure of it that way if it is something more serious you can get it handled with as little impact as possible. I am not saying its SCC but that was my concern and i was constantly looking to see of any lymphs were swollen, that and most STIs cause that too so at first i was checking my whole body like a maniac.
