Worried sick… Does this look like a Dermatofibroma or Melanoma?

I have had a hard pea sized lump on my upper chest area for about a year now. It's slowly got bigger.

It feels firm to touch and like a hard pea under my skin.

I saw my GP about it a few months ago and he took a look by eye and said it was a Dermatofibroma . I looked online and it does look like that.

But I can't help but worry it's something sinister and after googling I've worried myself sick it's Nodular Melanoma 😫

Does anyone have a Dermatofibroma that looks like this?

I'm awaiting an appointment with a private Dermatologist but I am beside myself with worry in the meantime.
