Worried silly, am over thinking things

Hi, long story, that I will try to keep short. 25/05/16 my wife had a fall @ home, she said that she doesn't remember falling, slipping etc. Whilst she doesn't remember falling she knows that she did as she woke/opened her eyes whilst on the floor. When my wife started to open her eyes, she said that, she could feel a pressure pain @ the back of her head. She carried in the day as normal. The next day, whilst walking our daughter into school, my wife said that her eight eye started to feel/as if there was a film over it, causing a hazy vision in the right eye. We went to a&e where they did bloods,BP, etc. Later in the day they sis a ct scan & all came back clear/normal. They kept her in over night as they said that they wanted to do a mri & a eye test. They did the eye test, which was difficult as my wife was sensitive to the light in the right eye. After the teat, he said that there was swelling @ the back of the eye on the optical nerve. Later that day my wife came home. On the 31/05/16 they called to book my wife in foe a mri, for the same day. They then called 2 days later (Thursday) to say, can you come in on Monday 06/06/16 to discuss your mri results.. My wife is taking it all in her stride.. I'm going out of my mind, I'm worried sick that something is growing where it shouldn't be.. If that was the case, would it on showed up on the ct scan, & or the blood tests etc... Sorry for the long post. Any reflection on this would be great..
