Worried something is wrong.

I’m a 23 year old female and I’m worried something is wrong.

On the 14 of this month, I started menstruating and had diarrhea. I put it off to that.

On July 16, I was prescribed Augmentin for my tonsils. It was a 10 day treatment. When taking it, my stools became very narrow and loose. I have had normal size stools as well but they are still quite soft. Its been 4 days now since I’ve completed my treatment and my stools don’t seem to improve. They’re still narrow and loose, and occasionally normal size but soft. I’m worried this could be cancer. I don’t have any blood from what I see, but my stool color ranges from light brown to dark brown.

Could this still be from the antibiotic? Btw I plan to see a GI if this doesn’t improve.

Michelle colon cancer is very rare for someone younger I'm not a health care professional but the red flags are loss of appetite alternating bowel movements and weight loss of 10 percent of your body weight in a short amount of time antibiotics kill all the good flora I was on antibiotics and they turned my urine neon green I freaked out and went to the er maybe give it a little time after you finish the meds if things get worse then definitely see a gi I wish things straighten out for you
