Hi tracieann. When I was first told I had Barrett's, I got very anxious. I was afraid to eat anything! What I found to work was starting my day with a protein shake that I added a banana to. I blended it and it felt soothing on my stomach. Keep looking for something that coats your stomach and comforts you. You will get used to this. Good health to you!

I've had Barrett's for about 9 months. I eat smaller meals, and I try not to eat after 8. I've given up raw veggies anytime and tomatoes for my dinner meal. I take aloe juice in the morning and pantoprazol 40 msg every day and ranitidine as a prn. I've also given up alcohol and caffeine. And I try not to worry. So keep calm and do your best. There are lots of us out there!
