Worrying red marks on the back of my hand

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, I couldn't find which specific subforum in Skin and Nails to put it in.

For the last few weeks I've had some marks on the back of my hand that at first I thought were harmless but after still being there for a few weeks I'm not so sure.

I'm talking specifically about the spots, the scratch was caused by my cat. That photo was taken a few days ago, as of right now they've gone a little darker and feel rough, like dry skin. The last thing I want is for them to scar so I'd ideally like to get rid of them asap or least find out what's causing them.

    Are they just on one hand and not the other? Anywhere else on your body? do they itch?
