Worrying symptoms

Hello, for the past 2 months I've felt tired all the time during the day, i have muscle and joint aches, my skin gets rashes easily, especially when i scratch it, I used to have hives but I keep them under control with antihistamines, my veins became more proeminent than before, I have chest pain and my heart pulse beats hard. All these symptoms except for fatigue come and go, while the fatigue is always present. I've done numerous blood tests and scans, and recently I've discovered that my only abnormal values were TSH 5.2, normal range being 0.55-4.78 in my country and eosinophils 6.5% with the max normal value being 5%. My FreeT4 is at 1,18 ng/dl with a normal range of 0.7-1.48 and 15,19 pmol/L with a normal range of 10-26. Also, I had my TPO and TG antibodies tested now, and TPO came back as 13.19 UI/ml with a normal range of ❤️4 and TG as 20.76 UI/ml with a range of ⇐115. Is subclinical hypothyroidism responsible for all of these symptoms in your opinion? I am 20 years old and my family has no history of thyroid disease. Thank you.

Hi sweetie Simple answer YES I have to always say in America while still many docs ignore blood work Even if your blood is slightly off It displays a problem Even close to high or low is a problem I have suffered with Thyroid issues for years with doctors ignoring me Started in my 20s My daughter ended up with Thyroid Cancer I know you say your family does not have a history But anyone can experience The fatigue is the worst I deal with all your symptoms and when daughter is cancer free I will further pursue this Just a tip Tip your head back slightly and take your fingers along the neck See if you feel the slightest of lumps Enlarged thyroid will cause all of your symptoms
Best of luck Ally

I experienced the same symptoms you have; terrible and inflamatory joint pains, so sevete that i needed a walker, my recent MRi shoe severe tissue tear of the MLC ON BOTH RIGHT AND LEFT knees, the ortho recomends surgery on both knees. THE rashes almost plastic looking in my joints . in addition to that labored breathing, and racing heart. i suspected an allergic reaction to the synthetic thyroid. i went down this route for a year, my endo did not want to believe me and told me it was something else to contact my primary. THANK GOODNESS, my primary sent me to a LUNG SPECIALIST for testing, and clinically verified that My lungs were not taking sufficient volume of air. My primary immediately took me off the synthetic thyroid medicine, and as if it was magic I was able to breathe, my joint pains have slowly improved so much that I DO NOT NEED A WALKER. I AM TAKING ARMOUR which is a natural thyroid made from pork. IM finally begining to loose weight and stabilize my TSH. it does take time, and you just have to be patient. my best advice is to find a doctor that will listen. MY ENDO REFUSED TO LISTEN. In part because endocrinologist dont support the Natural ARMOUR. I did find out that they ENDO,s get a ton of research money from PHARMA! good luck
