Worsening of Neurological Symptoms and possible seizures for a year. Any ideas?

Year long progressive worsening of physical and neurological/psychiatric symptoms that started as fatigue, hot flashes, anxiety, worsening menstrual cramps and waking up in panics several times a night. 5 months later and symptoms progress into ADHD-like symptoms including emotional lability, poor organization/planning, personality change and social isolation. First experience of panic attacks occur. 10 months from initial symptom onset and severe panic attacks, extreme anger, severe emotional outbursts, horrible menstrual cramps and whole body fatigue occurs every month 1-1.5 weeks before menstruation and Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder is diagnosed. Around this time possible seizures occur during severe emotional stress. Now, 16 months after initial symptom onset and symptoms continue to get horribly worse. The PMDD symptoms have progressed into even worse anger/rage attacks, emotional lability, movement/seizure symptoms, disorganization, etc. The premenstrual neuro/psychiatric symptoms are starting to occur at all times of the month and psychosis/disorientation/cursing is starting to occur following the seizure activity episodes. I had an EEG that showed abnormal seizure activity in the frontal lobe but still waiting for any answers. Has anyone experienced anything like this? Can anyone give me possible answers? Please help in any way.

    Kaley,

You symptoms sound Lyme/Bartonella related. Best to see a specialist who deals with Lyme and it's related co-infections. Unless you have a positive test, mainstream medical docs will likely keep treating your symptoms without finding a cause. I've been there and still dealing with it unfortunately.
