I just had the worst episode of my life. The room was spinning for 6 hours straight with vomiting. I had to nap in between to feel normal. I couldn’t get out the bed. I had to go to hospital too get Iv meds. I need help on how to prevent it from getting this bad again.

Have you had vestibular tests? It sounds like possibly Menieres.

If you went to the hospital, I'm guessing they would have given you a referral for investigations. You need to go through with these to find the cause, so it can be treated.
