hello im doing the Dr David Brownstein protocol for suspected hyperthyroidism does anyone know if iodine would have a direct affect on ft3 &ft4? i have seen my TSH go from 1.5 all the way to 4.82 (which is apparently to be expected) but wondered if it would have had a change on my other lab results too

From my understanding, iodine can help (and is required) to produce T4, T3 from thyroid... The shooting high of TSH shows a hypo trend. What are your T4, T3 numbers? The iodine protocol is normally used for hypothyroidism or hashi. Is it good for hyper? Don't know.
