I understand where you are coming from, but dont think taking a laxative everyday will be good for your system. believe me i wish it was ok to take it. maybe take it every two days? i have done that at times cause of the pain. and in the mean time make yourself a healthy smoothie that might work as a natrual laxative?

    hi Bianca

sorrry for the long post in advance - in short the answer to taking any form of laxative for a pre-longed period is not ok unless your dr tells you that you can. i would in the first instance speak to a dr if you havent already. i would also try and get to the bottom (no pun intended) of why this has happened specially if its the first time. so for example has your diet changed are you stressed, worried or feeling anxious, change in lifestyle maybe etc. these all play a part in changes in BM and therefore possibly causing your problems. ive suffered with the darn things for over 10 years my sincere advice is to up your water intake, keep your BM soft (not loose), no straining and listen to your body, exercise and watch what you eat (plenty of fruit and veg foods that are good source if fiber).

regarding laxatives there are so many types so again you’ll need to figure out which is best to you to kick the curve and then move onto natural laxatives through foods. do you require bulk forming, stimulant type, osmatic laxative or just a poo softner version....happy to discuss further if you need just message!

    good luck and take care
