I am very depressed about my wieght whaich I cannot sort out since i stopped smoking.. What do you have to do to get help from a doctor,,???????

    Dear Fastersunshine,

I have just started orlistat today. Have just read your post of 24th and hope you have had some luck with your gp by now. My gp wanted me to have started losing weight before starting on the capsules, so I managed to lose 10lbs at a well known slimming group first. Hopefully the caps will help speed things up as I'm very impatient!

I hope you 'check in' again and read this. Keep pestering your gp and if you can show him you can lose a little weight by yourself hopefully he'll give you a prescription. Good luck!
