Would you trust it?

can anyone help? i have just had my old medication i have been on for more years than i can remember, has been cut overnight. it's an ant-acid called ranitidine but i now have a new medication called lansopasole instead! the leaflet has a massive list of side-effects including problems with bones. should i even take it? i saw a different doctor, not mine and he put me on this new stuff! help, just stuck! would you try it? my doctor is ringing me on wednesday and i have rang coeliac uk to speak to a medic. any help greatly required.

    As far as I am aware but dont quote me there is a problem with ranitidine so it has been recalled but someone on here will be able to advise you properly

      thank you, just new doctor that's all so didn't know what to believe!
