Wounds on penis (lasting for 2 years)

The first time it appeared in 2019. I went to a doctor, he prescribed acriderm, it did not help. Then I went to another doctor; he prescribed to take a bandage, drench it in chlorhexidine, and wrap around the penis doing it three times a day for a week. It helped a little, but after I had sex it appeared again. I was in a relationship from February 2020 to December 2020. During this period I used chlorhexidine several times but it never led to full getting over. Then, after the relationship was over, I went to a doctor again and this time he prescribed carbolfuchsin and triderm. It helped a lot and I thought that this time I really got over, but after a month since I stopped using triderm it appeared again. I tried to use it once more without consulting the doctor, but there was almost no effect this time.

Since December 2020, I abstain from all sexual contacts. I also try, as much as I can, to reduce masturbation to the minimum to avoid friction.

I still don't know what it is. Looks like balanitis, but I'm not really sure.

A little bit more info: In 2001 I had syphilis, though it was treated well and did not bother me afterwards.

Hi it does look quite inflamed have you seen a dermatologist? you have some scarring there so I'd suspect one of the lichen skin condition. Your not circumcised?

I went to a venereologist, I guess if it were the lichen skin condition, one of which I had a couple of years ago and then successfully treated, the venereologist would diagnose it. I'm not circumcised, but when I was a child I had something like circumcision, perhaps, half-circumcision because of some other condition.

OK what did the the venereologist diagnose and what treatment did they give you?

Have you read the post? They think it posthitis, but their treatment of it hasn't helped so far.

Yes I have read it, and the skin is quite inflamed looking if they think it's balanitis / posthitis, it could take some time for the treatment to work.
