The incision where they put the rod through my heel has not healed and this is 75 days I have mentioned it at every appointment

I cannot walk because of the pain in my heel

has anyone else ever experienced this incision being a problem for this long

I’ve been told to massage where the incision was that maybe it’s scar tissue well I’ve been doing that for 7 days and it is still so painful every step is painful because of the incision

now my gait or hobble sends shooting pains to my hip

would love to hear any experiences with this problem

Ask for Xrays when you go or go to the ER and have them do it. Ask for a copy of them and bring them to your surgeon. Sometimes you have to advocate for yourself. And this is one of those times. You shouldn't be feeling that much pain, discomfort, yes, but pain like you can't walk on it, no.

Get going and advocate for yourself! 😃

    Good luck, Rose
