Wrist popped today

I was at work today and was trying to move a box, and i heard a pop in my wrist and got automatic sharp shooting pains in my wrist.

Through-out the day, depending how I move my thumb or what i was doing, i get sharp shooting pain through my thumb and into my wrist. I move my thumb and it feels almost heavy, not sure if that is the right explanation though.

Has anyone had similar expereince? What did you do? Any advice?

    Sounds like you may have an inflamed tendon? Put some ice on it and take Ibuprofen. If it doesn't feel better after a day or two I would consult a doctor.

    Good advise from Luke, however you must report your "injury" to your work supervisor.  This was an on the job injury and they should be responsible for your medical expenses.  You may also have to modify your job duties or have time off.  Good luck
