have you looked into skin conditions? Not that this would be the same but i had what I thought was athletes foot for 3 years. Sooo itchy, it would blister and hurt and i just kept treating over the counter with no results.. Finally went to the docotr and she said it was eczema. It was gone two days later... I felt so silly

thanks for the reply. I was just thinking I do have athletes foot right now and what's the chances of transferring. only thing is it doesn't itch or nothing. does it have to itch.

Nope doesnt have to itch! Athletes foot is a fungal infection so it could be transfered pretty easily by touch. But there are a lot skin infections it could possibly be. Definitely sounds to be consistent with some kind of dermatits expecially if you havent possibly been exposed to anything in a year.. but based on the location I wouldnt try to treat it over the counter... the wrong treatment could make it worse. If it doesnt go away of its own a doctor visit might be in order!
