My husband suffers from neuropathy ( Bad) he has to take 5mg of Xanax everyday bc so. We he last yr got T-boned by a $million rv 😖 but she's not only damaged work he had , had 7 yrs ago, it added severe damage to I think C6 and C7! Bc of the old injuries being damaged by this wreck it caused new ones, and workers comp has been making this poor man suffer for A YEAR NOW BC THEY DONT WANT TO FOR SURGERY!! he cannot at this point use his left are ( days he can't feel it, other days it's a combination between burning and numbing does sharp shooting pain! His left arm is basically paralyzed and his fingers are curled to where they cannot be uncurled) . My understanding from what my husband's told me and the doctors it all stems from his neck! He has for cadaver bones titanium plate and six screws in the front of his neck all of them were broken, now he needs more screws and etcetera in the back of his neck! I cannot believe what workers comp is doing to him right now when there is clear evidence! I don't understand how they're getting away with this he is taken every Imaging that is possible even had two epidural shots in his neck spinal tap you name it and they still refuse😤 I don't understand how they're going to be able to get away with this which is why we have to go in front of a worker's comp judge! When truthfully all my husband wants to do is go back to the work that he has loved and and he is been doing for 18 years and they have taken that away from him😤😤😤😤😤 yesterday he was in so much pain his brain his neck all the way down to shoulder blades and arms are burning so bad that is Xanax wasn't even working so they did an emergency call in for Neurontin oh my God the worst medicine in the world! He was on a completely different planet! I have never seen medication work like this before and I pray to God that they do take that Neurontin medication off the market because it's inexcusable what it does to people, when Xanax works for nerve pain! Not a whole lot of people know about that was Xanax cuz it's mainly known for anxiety but as a trifecta affect anxiety, severe nerve damage like neuropathy, sciatic nerve damage, and helps lower blood pressure. So Neurontin needs to be very seriously studied because side effects are insane! Husband took one yesterday early in the day and he is still on planet nine hasn't taking another one and the side effects are all they're still. My father and I have to carry him around to the restroom and back still! So for any of y'all out there that have these severe severe side effects from Neurontin tell your neurologist that you want to try Xanax! It works and you don't go crazy seriously in the worst side effect of Xanax is that you fall asleep in your not on planet nine!

.Isn’t their vehicular insurance coverage handling his injury that undid his previous surgical procedure?
I know from my own Neuro-rotten experience that it’s a bad drug. It caused me to develop a sudden onset of a permanent uncontrollable jerking and twitching movement disorder 10 years ago. It only took two consecutive 300 mg doses to backfire in my brain. The neurosurgeon who was supposed to give me my brain MRI results told me they hadn’t received them yet, but he said, “I’m sure you didn’t have a stroke.” I didn’t know there was a type of stroke that could cause a movement disorder. I bought a Neurology book online written by a Professor and found that my 6 mm subthalamic lesion would cause it.
There was a chapter about the anti-epileptic drugs or AED drugs. They admitted Neurontin can cause movement disorders as well as a hand condition called, Choreoathetosis. Within 6 weeks, I woke up to find my right thumb had locked over my palm and rapid development of finger contractures caused by tendon tightening from my constant shoulder shrugging.
I have to take a small dose of Xanax at night or I would never be able to sleep.
I hope your husband finds help.
In case you don’t know this, Xanax is also an AED Drug that enhances GABA, but at a lot lower dose. I don’t know if your husband should be taking two types of AED’s. Whoever came up with the idea that your brain can stand such large doses of GABA inhancing drugs, should have been forced to being their guinea pigs.

First of all, edit and correct your spelling, please. And this is the first time that I have heard of Xanax for pain. I suggest that you get a second opinion from a specialist other than your present one. And don't let anyone sell you on Gabapentin.
