My husband has been taking 20 mg of Rivaroxaban for the last 2 months due to a PE in lower lung.. So far so good with just a few side affects slight dizzeyness...however he has just experienced a slight tummy ache slight constipation and blood in his water works (bright red with droplets of blood) over the last two days...went to dr and he didn't know what to do except write to the hospital OMG I thouugt what an answer is that...did not check to see if there was an infection with a water sample (did stick thing)...feel very frustrated with GP..however after reading the side effects on the drug leaflet it's common in 1 in 10 people.. Have any of you guys out there experienced blood in water works (blood droplets coming out of Your willi🤔) now 2 days later everything back to normal...really don't want to go to hemotology yet!! As don't want to over react,,, any comments Please..

Hi there , I am on rivaroxaban, for 3 months now , weird side effects are very oily skin, lots of build up under skin on my nose and face like spots but with completely clear liquid inside , and intense almost instant tiredness , like passing out almost with only a few minutes notice or less I can fall asleep . The usual advice from doctors , keep an eye on it and if it gets worse come back !!!!

Oh and sorry no blood in wee , but I do seems to have minor blood when blowing my nose an awful lot , like at least once every day, but no nosebleeds

I didn't have blood in urine, but did have bleeding on Rivaroxaban. Not initially, but started after about 4 weeks or so. Switched to warfarin, bleeding stopped in 36 hours.

      Many thanks peter

george wee  has returned to normal so must be a side affect of drug. Would not go on Warfrin as vitamin K and INR testing plus you cannot really gave alcohol which my husband does like a few pints.. So Ribaraxaban is a good alturnative ..
