Hi Team,
Hope you all doing well. Most of you might have seen my posts last year regarding having only one good eye and which I had to go through cataract on it in Dec 2018. I went with -1.5 distance for it and I was really happy with the outcome. How ever vision got blurray in last 2 months and visited doctors and they suggested to go through YAG for removing it. I m planning to do it as its kind of disturbing now.. can you please advise if any risks going through YAG? As per my research and discussions with doctors this looks like a simple procedure and need not to be worry.. But just wanted to get your thoughts as I have only vision in that eye 😦.. Please advise I m worried abut folaters also

I had YAG in right eye yesterday. Only took a minute or so. Basically no different than the usual slit lamp examination except a lense was inserted over the eye then you see a number of tiny red dot lights which are the lasers beams. I didn't even know it had been done to be honest as I was talking thinking it hadn't started yet only to be told it was finished. Totally painless during the YAG and during recovery. No restrictions after surgery but the eye drops used to dilate the pupil prior to YAG will make vision in the operated eye very blurry until it wears off.
