Yeast, BV, or herpes?

I have this small cut that comes back at the same place. It doesn't hurt and sometimes is only there for a day. On average I would say it's there for two days and then disappears. I have been having recurring yeast and bv, could it be caused by this or is this herpes? I thought herpes was little clusters and round? And I also thought I would have had an outbreak? I have a boyfriend and we have both been tested for STIs and it all came back clear.

This small cut always appears at the same place and seems to happens after being itchy and having dry skin. To add to this, I am almost always itchy in my vulva area.

When I was travelling, I didn't have time for tests so the doctor put me on fluconazole and clotrimazole which didn't do much. I then tried Valtrex (valacyclovir) tablets but that didn't make a difference either. The tear cleared by itself that time and took a little longer than usual. I have an appointment with the doctor but has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Yes, those are the symptoms of herpes and it could form as a small crack or bump. Have blood work done to be sure.

Thanks for responding! If it is herpes, I have no idea how long I have had it for and I have no idea how I am going to tell my boyfriend about this 😦 this is so stressful

The coming in the same spot and itchiness before an outbreak is a dead giveaway for herpes, so I suspect that's what it is. Get the blood test first, you never know, it could be something else.

If that is what it is, it's possible that he caught it and gave it to you. You could keep an eye out to see if he has any symptoms and if he never says anything then maybe he knows he caught something and gave it to you, or ask if he's ever had symptoms and explain the situation, however you want to go about it. You'll get through it and everything will be fine.

from my experience drs dont understand herpes. The majority of them seem to say the classic symptoms like you did. You can get a blood test but that wouldnt tell you where it is located. According to WHO 2/3 have hsv1 antibodies, if blood shows hsv2 then maybe more of an implication of genital. I suggest that if it keeps coming back try and get it swabbed.
