Yeast infection even on maintenance fluconazole

i was wondering if anyone maybe experiencing or has any advise for me. so i have chronic yeast/thrush infections to a point where it comes twice a month now, im lucky to get rid of it through the month. my GP has perscribed a 6 month course of a low dose of fluconazole to suppress it. lately the thrush has been returning even on the medication, especially after sex or after my period. it will only go away with a higher one off dose along with my maintenence fluconazole but still comes back after a few days.
its ruining my life im in constant pain and belly ache from the infestation now i really need some help if anyone can be kind enough to offer advise?
thanks

That is exactly how i was 5 years ago. I beat it by changing my diet (i have private messaged you about that) and taking natural suppliments which have an anti yeast effect. I then got it every 4 months, then 6, etc. How I would cure it then was 100mg oral fluconazole per day for 7 days. Now i can't remember when i last had it.
I think that the yeast can become resistent to fluconazole.

i take 50mg a day of fluconazole but its not really working anymore. i think i need to get the strain tested. if its become resistent to fluconazole is there other antibiotics to treat it? im worried this will kill me or never go away and cause major health problema 😦
