Yeast infection or something else

So i have been experiencing some pretty bad burning and pain in my vagina especially when i urinate. it is really red and irritated, i have since then noticed some bumps on my urethra. they have been treating it as a uti but the antibiotics havent been helping. what could he wrong?

    would also like to add that i have thick white discharge

      Hi Stephanie, it does sound like a yeast infection. Would you feel comfortable to upload a picture of the bumps? It would help us provide the best advice.

      waiting for the reply to be moderated but thats the bump. a tiny little white thing. didnt come up until after my yeast infection symptoms started

    maybe a yeast infection , could you post a picture of the bumps i am going through the same thing

    Hi, Stephanie, your picture is kind of blury so it's hard to see. It does look like a herpes ulcer. Now it doesn't mean it is. You should go to the doctor and have it swabbed. If it is, there's some medication to help you.

      i got that done yesterday. it has busted today now its red and flat

      If it popped like a whitehead, it's unlikely to be herpes. Herpes sores are usually filled with clear liquid. Since you got swabbed, you should trust what the health professional said.

      the ulcer pictured literally went away the day after i went to the doctor.. can herpes go away that fast?

      It's not very common but some people experience very mild outbreak. I remain optimistic and feel like this is bad yeast infection.
