yellow colouring on whites of eyes??

Ok so i have been having ongooing digestive problems for a long time....had lots of test/blds/ultrasound/endoscopy......all came back fine, aprt from the ultra sound showing my gallbladder walls thickened and full of shadows.  Today i have noticed the white of my eyes have yellow patches on them.  My eyes are dark brown and the whites usually have a whitish blue tint......but not anymore. Could this be due to my gallbladder?? Im not in any pain. Has anyone experienced this?? Did it get worse over time??

    Hi Vonnie sounds like you need to see a doctor it could be your liver! I would go asap to see your GP xxx

    Yes I had that gradually getting worse over a week and me feeling weaker and weaker and skin getting yellow.   I went to A&E and turned out I had pancreatis - a gall stone had blocked the pancreatic duct which could be life threatening.   Go to GP ASAP and if gets worse go straight to A&E.

      Im not in any pain.....just have a dodgy tummy past coupe of days but i get that most days as its one of my symptoms. Its not like bright yellow but i can notice it..Like light yellow starting for each side of the whites of the eyes. even starting on the right side of the whites too.

      Maybe ok but eyes yellowing is not normal.   I ignored it for a week or so and wish I hadn't.

      My eyes got more and more yellow and also my face and gradually I just starting feeling tired and weak - not in dramatic way but day by day.  I just thought it nornal gall stone symptoms that I had many times before but eventually realised this was different and went to A&E.  Even then I could have driven myself so didn't seem that bad but it was.  Basically my blood was being slowly poisoned I think.

      Mine was my liver not functioning properly due to a blocked bile duct from a gallstone. Had to have it unblocked n then gallbladder removed a few weeks later. Wouldn't leave it.

      Yes I had a blocked bile duct as well I think.  Good news was that it basically unblocked itself after I was put on a drip only for five days and and in the end didn't even have gall bladder removed.

      They told me that because it had happened once it wud do it again so that's why they take gallbladder out.

    will the yellow gradually get worse quickly??

    This could mean you have jaundice

    It could also mean you have hepititus.

    Have you been abraod recently?

    Many years ago my sister came back from Morocco with hepititus. It's to do with the liver.

    Get this checked out.

      I wouldn't leave it. Would advice u see a doctor asap. Can me a lot off things the longer u leave it the worse can happen.
