yellow highlight in vision

Hello

About six month ago, I had a sudden onset of seeing yellow highlighted field in my vision on my right eye while I didn’t see anything through the left eye if I covered the right eye. The yellow field doesn't cover whole vision; it is only little area that is an irregular shape. My retina specialist didn't find anything wrong, he sent me off for an MRI to eliminate possibility of any stroke, it only showed mineralization is seen within the basal ganglia. Then I waited to see if it will go away, now I see the same thing on my left eye covering the right eye after seeing through both of my eyes, but this one goes away after few seconds unlike the right eye where the yellow area stays.

Couple weeks back, I went to see a Neuro-Ophthalmologist, the doctor couldn’t explain my problem except the winkles on my retina which could be a problem while he couldn’t explain the sudden onset. I offered my MRI, but he said he doesn’t need to see it because he doesn’t see anything wrong with optic nerve.

I can live with the problem, but I would like to know what could be causing the problem and I don’t want to worry about it getting worst.

I am wondering if anyone here has similar problem, I appreciate any feedback.
