Yellow liquid when wiping bottom (I'm only 19)

hello, this is my first time writing on here as I am very worried about this symptom I have been having for about a week. I was diagnosed with health anxiety and IBS 8 months ago and have been dealing with it as best as I can. lately I have had this symptom where I would have gas, then upon going to the toilet there would be this strange yellow liquid from my bottom and on the toilet paper. I would like to mention that my ibs is mostly a mixture of constipation (pebble stools) and loose stools (not diarrhoea ) and I do tend to strain alot. I probably making this sound very complicated but I'm really worried it is something more serious than ibs, like I have damaged my nerves or something like IBD. does anyone know what it could be? thank you!

from what i read it sounds like its either mucus which is completely normal with IBS or youre just having yellow diarrhea which is normal too with IBS

the stool might be yellow because your intestines are pushing it through too quickly and the bile doesnt have time to turn it brown. Happens to me and i have Ibs

anxiety is the worst possible thing for ibs. i believe worse or just as bad as food triggers imo

Great, I am not saying you would get it but I was like you, it was IBS but in my head it became much more than that there is a great correlation between brain and gut and when your brain is confused the gut follows suit. Also you would know if you had diverticulitis the pain is unbearable so dont worry take care and good luck
