Yellowish Color to Discharge, Is this normal?

Posted , 2 users are following.

(TMI) This light yellowish color appears primarily after I urinate or have a bowel movement. It does not smell or have a weird texture. When I take it off the toilet paper and pull the discharge apart with my fingers it looks white. Is it also normal for discharge to appear more yellow on white toilet paper? I have talked to my mom and sister and they have said it appears to be normal. I've just heard that yellow is a bad sign or it could also be normal.

Thats comforting honestly. It has never really been a brighter yellow than that unless I take a Vitamin B pill or I am severely dehydrated. Theres no smell too. So I am inclined to think it is normal

      Marie,

The composition of vaginal discharge varies during your menstrual cycle so changes in colour, stickiness etc can vary depending on where you are in your period.

As long as there are no additional symptoms like itching, irritation, bleeding or foul odour then it's likely to be OK.

Okay, sometimes I have noticed some very mild irritation down there but it is more momentary. Sometimes Ill get an itch like I would on my arm.
