Yellowish light brown stool - HELP!

Since month ago I been having a constant lump sensation on my throat that comes and go. I read It could be Gloubus Sensation" and the main causes are strees o GERD .

I had an endoscopy about two weeks ago I was diagnosed with GERD , a little Heital Hernia, Duodenitis without bleeding

and a Decreased Peristalsis in the Stomach suggestive of Gastroparesis. They also took me some biopsies but now I'm wating for the results in two weeks. The Dr. put me on Nexium 40mg and a diet with out triggers (spicy, graesy food etc)

I quit the Nexium a week ago as I started to have "yellowish light brown stools" and I got scared.

And that's my main worry now. They're not bright yellow like a bannana, is more like yellowish/Orange and sometimes light brown.

Now, dear old Dr. Google say it's liver disease, gallbladder disease or pancreas disease related. Infections or tumors.

However, some sites also mention GERD among other things causing fast transit times.

I don't have any other symptoms, no pain, no yellow skin, no yellow eyes. Just a little stress since I'm very concerned for my health and my next appointment is in 2 weeks.

So what can it be the cause of the Yellowish Stools? GERD? The Nexium? or any other of my recently DX?

Please Help me

Wait for the results. Don't google and try to find details about it yourself. It's impossible to detect the cause without the results. And searching google will make you worried and anxious unnecessarily. On google you will find horrifying results even for a small scratch on your finger.

Once the results are in hand, then try to use google search for a solution, medicines and get suggestions from people who may have similar symptoms, disease or results. And then take doctor's advise on possible concerns you may find through people who experienced it before.

Since you only stopped Nexium a week ago, it may take time for your stools to return to normal. If your stools changed after taking Nexium, the PPI may be the cause. Fast transit time can also cause this due to foods not digesting properly. Don't consult google; it will make you panic. Instead, ask your doctor at your next appointment. A lump in throat sensation can be GERD.

yes, this can happen from the ppis and I get food that looks partially digested, my stools are not fully formed. It might be the acids suppression and the fact that my stomach is inflamed, I had this before and once my stomach was healed and stopped the ppi, stools returned to normal.

Don't be scared, take the ppi, change your diet to help the recovery.
