You know you have fibro or fibro fog when.....

This is meant to be lighthearted and allow us to laugh with each other not at each other's antics!
You know you have fibro fog when
You find the milk in the oven instead of the fridge
You spend ages looking for the keys and they are in your hand
You forgot what you have just said and come out with a totally inappropriate sentence which makes no sense to the discussion.
You put sugar on your dinner instead of salt
You know you have fibro when....
You see the medics more than your friends
Your wheelie bin goes out more often than you do
You possess more nightwear than daywear
I could go on but will leave it open for everyone else to add their favourites

Yes, sounds perfectly normal for us fibro folk. I walked up a road and into a driveway and found it wasn't my road or my house. I had walked straight past my own road. Can laugh now but it was quite distressing at the time!

Well done you! Because honestly I get everyone of them, my son keeps saying lately that I'm getting the most confusing person in the world, I keep saying things the wrong way around, doing random things, to me they make total sense, and now I keep forgetting the simplest of things that have been said. I suppose it makes life(of someone with Fabriomyalgia) a little more enjoyable xxx

Thanks Maggers, this has put a smile on my face, because it now makes me feel I am not alone. My boss thinks I make it up when I forget things, I feel like directing her to this site. I now have a note book to write things down, so I can continue doing my job, but I think I'm going to be reprimanded as my work has slipped since being diagnosed with the condition. So this morning seeing this lighthearted humour makes me realise we are still human, thank you

Oompah I can really associate with this, I had to leave my job recently as found unfit for duties by Occy health. My memory is just awful and was bad as I was responsible for ordering meds, got into trouble so many times as I kept forgetting. I have thrown my phone in the bin so many times and searched house for it! It's not funny a the time, but o can laugh about it now reading this

Laughter is the best medicine If we take ourselves too seriously then we risk losing friends and colleagues. Through laughing at myself my colleagues understand far more what fibro is about than if I tried cramming facts into them. There are far worse things to suffer, as I keep reminding myself during the bad times.

Yep been there and done it! I said the other day " I am going to a wedding" when I meant to say "I am going to lunch". Work colleagues just laughed and said they were not impressed with my outfit!!!!!

Lol! To be fair my work colleagues were not very supportive anyway but I never let it get to me. My mom has fibro too, and when we are together it's hilarious.

I used to have can excellent memory for names but now can hardly remember my own. Horriblecwhen you bump into someone you have not seen for a whole and can't remember how you know them.
