Young adult son

He was taking 20 mg of escitalopram for 2 years. Went to new dr and increased his dose to 40 mg and also gave him 150 mg of wellbutrin. He's not been himself moodwise and in the past he got sweaty and anxious and tingling limbs using 20 mg on escitalopram. I just reduced his dose today by half with both pills. Is this ok? I'm concerned that it can make him violent. He's a real nice young man.

Unless you are a medical professional you should never interfere with your son's drug dosage as you risk harming him. He needs to see his doctor and take professional advice.
Also any drug even non prescription ones can interfere with his meds so his doctor needs to be informed.

Dear Teresa,
I was an Lexapro ( Brand name for what your son is on)
40mil for 5 years all of a sudden I became irritated and anxious My psychiatrist took me off it without a taper and told me that after years of being on it that the medicine can turn around and give you irritability and anxiety
After going off it I felt much better and a couple months later was put on Paxil
Not pretending to be a Doctor... Just sharing my personal experience!
Much care to you and your difficult situation 💕💕💕
