hi i had my first hip replacment a yer ago aged 36 . interested to hear oter peoples strories of having hip replacments at a younger ago and the stories of why? also interested to know how long some of these lasted at a younger age for those who are now slightly older and also if you are being very active?

hi. i am so relived to know it can last years. i had a mini hip replacment and am on a trial. any one else had one of these? i am one year in and still need my other one doing so am intersted to know which one to go for? i was born with slighly unformed hip sockets and so over the years and being a horse rider has taken its toll. i ant really ride now casues to many issues. both my kids were born like it and had a body harness on for a year and a half from 2 days old so i am hoping they will be pain free and have good hips for life as they are also horse riders.
