What few words would you use to describe what your depression is to you? How does it feel? What does it look like?

    Hopelessness that I'll never come out of this dissociative state, big unenjoyment in everything that i do. The feeling of being disconnected is what's making me depressed as I can't enjoy anything as i feel so zoned out.

    A cage with no door, no matter which way you turn you see nothing but bars .

    Both of the other two replies  plus fear!!!! my anxierty level is so bad now I winder how I make it through the day.

    If you have ever been in a cupboard or toilet and someone turns the light out and holds the door closed for a couple of seconds for a joke, but that feeling being trapped in darkness 24’7 🤕
