Hello. You can get rid of all symptoms just by lowering bilirubin. Some people can achieve that with just a diet and physical activity changes, but they are lucky ones. If you lived enough time with high bilirubin you are probably depleted in all vitamins and metals (especially copper and zinc). It will make the task of lowering a bilirubin impossible, because the less bilirubin you have - the more energy you have and therefore more vitamins and metals are required to sustain such energy levels. Bowel disfunction is because of low B vitamins (mainly vitamin B12) and can be reversed easily. In order to lower bilirubin you have to take copper (essential for brain and liver function, also prolongs erythrocytes life span therefore lowers bilirubin), magnesium that is essential to muscle and blood vessels health, and zinc, because copper lowers zinc. All B vitamins are advised in complex to boost energy. It is very important to detoxify through sweating (physical exercise) before your copper levels will get high enough.
