Zoloft 100mg - 125mg .. to 150mg?

I have been on the same generic brand of Zoloft for 3 years, 100mg and generally doing really well! Approx 4 weeks ago my pharmacy ran out my usual brand and gave me a different generic. I didn't think anything of it and took my medication as usual for the next 6 days. I woke up on the 6th morning with horrible anxiety - similar to what I had prior to starting sertraline. I went back to the pharmacy on the 7th day and got the brand name Zoloft. I took that for approx 3 weeks, with bad anxiety still & had another panic attack so my doctor increased my dose to 125mg. It's now day 10 and I have felt slightly better but still having pretty bad anxiety. Seeing as I have been on sertraline for a substantial amount of time I'm thinking that maybe that dose increase was too small? Contemplating increasing to 150mg. Would love to hear some opinions. Thanks!
