Hi people, ive been reading your concerns with the side affects of taking sertraline ( zoloft) ive been taking 50 mg for years for mild anxiety and my experience is for the first month or so you do get side affects but then they will dissapear completly and then its all happy days

The best time to take them is in the morning that way they wont disturb your sleep , once your body

Gets used of them it dosnt matter what time you takem is what ive found

Also if and when you want come off them i reccomend you taper them down very slowly as your brains got to reajust and ya can get pretty moody etc, i still take them only because i sleep so much more soundly and its good to get out of bed feeling fresh every morning ??

Danny, thank you for the encouragement, greatly appreciate it. It can cause some hard times trying to adjust to them, with super anxiety and other rather disturbing side affects.

Hi mark, i reccomend you come of fairly slowly i would taper them down 25 mg every 2 months or so your bodys got ample time to reajust otherwise your nerves can get a bit raw and effected by things and and can effect your sleep

Take it slowly and see how you go

      Before you come off completely,

      All the best

    Hi Danny,

Thanks for that information, it is encouraging to hear that the side effects went for you. If I can get through the side effects then hopefully this medication will work for me.
