Hi!
Im new here but Ive read a few topics.
Im on zoloft since 20 days, its going to make 3 weeks mark tomorrow.
I take it for anxiety and short of a breakdown with fatigue.
Im on AD since 11 years. I almost tried every ad possible. Since one year, no ad is making me come back to where I was before.
I took zoloft few years ago for 4 years. Re-tried it last year but the doctor went fast on putting me at 100mg and it didnt help.
So here I am, taking in again.
Anxiety seem a little less but my major concern is that zone out kinda feeling. Im also pretty tired all day long but still have a hard time falling asleep at night. Once I get to sleep, I have around 8 hours of sleep but still feel fatigue and unmotivate.
Also a bit shaky some times during the day and I have to take my clonazepam at night when my anxiety starts and to go to bed.
First 10 days I took 25mg..... direct switch from prozac 10mg. Then 50mg since one week.
I take it in morning to avoid major insomnia.
Will the side effects of fatigue ever go away?????

I take clonazepam since a year. I use to be ok with 1/4 of a 0.5mg pill but since a little bit, I had to up the dose to 1/2, sometimes 3/4. I wish I never needed those benzo, but when I'll be settle, my doc will help me stop that.

I am taking clonazepam .5 or .25 as needed for sleep. I've been doing this for 3 months. I have not done clonazepam since Sunday night .25. Today I'm feeling a lot of anxiety. I suppose it's the zoloft huh?

How long have you been on Z? What dose?

I have not taken klonopin every night maybe 4 nights a week. Some weeks maybe 2. I've substituted other sleep meds during that time. I did .5 last Friday night and then .25 on Sunday. That's it. I recently went to 50 mg zoloft last Friday. This Friday will be 2 weeks. I'm guessing the klonopin should be out of my system and it's the zoloft kicking in

You are right, this must be the new dose. It takes a little bit to adapt.

I was unbelievable tired at the beginning...it does go away but it takes time.. stick with it with 25mg increases at a time...be patient..It's a slow working drug which has saved my life..
Good luck

Thats a little bit reassuring!
Im tired since a whole year from switching to an ad to another. Last one was prozac...not for me but took it 4-5 months. Its like if now, Im more and more sensitive to meds and dont tolerate even a low dose...
Do you take yours in am?
I know 3 weeks is not enough and mostly one week at 50mg.... but its sooo long to wait!
How long did you had side effects such as fatigue?

I take my med in morning since 3 days.
I use to take in around lunch time but I had to much trouble getting to bed at night even with extreme fatigue.
Since I take it in morning, I feel sort of more anxious in pm and night. Little more dizzy and shaky also. Im also at 50mg since a week (was at 25mg before that). Why do my anxiety seems a little more intense at the end of the day?
Anybody have a clue?

I take it at night ...I was suffering from burn out and panic attacks which is why I was put on it. I was therefore very tired anyway. I could hardly stand up and simple housework was beyond me. I would end up on the floor with palpitations. So hard to explain to anyone ..there's being tired and there's being totally exhausted! It's scary and you think you will not recover. I couldn't go out of the house and was off work for 8 months. At around 75mg I started to have better days. I started to drive again but I still found great difficulty going into shops. I felt very depersonalised ..i would put an elastic band round my wrist and twang it to remind me that I was real!
I gradually improved ..don't get me wrong I couldn't run a marathon but I can put out the washing out now without collapsing. I am now on 150mg and back at work.
Keep going..there is light at the end of your tunnel

Wow! I can totally relate to your story.... I also had sort of a breakdown back in january 2017 from a burn out and anxiety also. Because I didnt listem to the symptoms my body was given me from a few months prior to that, when I "crashed", it seemed like nothing could help. I was on lexapro when I had my burn out. From there, we tried increasing the dose, and then I was changed almost 4 or 5 times with different ad with no result. Like my body didnt tolerated them anymore. Had blood test done but everything was okay.
Now back to try zoloft and I really really hope 🤞🤞🤞 it will make the trick!!!
Im off work since that and so tired of having no energy and fatigue for sooo long. Since on zoloft, I feel like my nervous system inside of me is shaking a little. Today marks one week at 50mg but 3 weeks total with z.
Aftet soo long, and multiples meds that I have tried, I wish with all my heart that it will finaly work so I get out of this.
Thanks for your reply....it helps me so much to read people who went through similar situation and got back on their feet.
