My doctor gave me Lorazepam to help with anxiety and one tablet usually keeps me comfortable for a couple of days. I try not to use it unless I'm really agitated.

Just a thought. Been on Sertraline for 20 days now with no results felt, but I know it takes time. I'm at 100 mg. Doc says it should be showing some benefit by now.

usually no improvent until 2 nd week and at least 4 weeks for any significant improvement. It's so tough but hang on in there.

FYI, I started Jan. 2 . I'm at 100 mg. Wake up every nite about 3:00 a,m. Worry about something. Every time something pops into my head, I get flutters then worry rest of nite.

Some worry is over things I can't control, others over things I'm afraid to mention due to conflict avoidance. Just gotta find some solution.

Tire of being "scared" of life. I want to be happy! Sticking with the Zolof for a bit longer.

Hi I found that it took about 3/4 weeks for side effects to diminish but didnt benefit until about week 5/6. Although I still didn't feel right so have being upped to 100mg NYE and will be increasing again next week to 150mg hoping that this will be the extra and last boost

I've had not discernable side effects that I've noticed. One day I thought I was a bit fuzzy, but thinking straigh, but I'd been staring at a computer monitor all morning with reading glasses on/off/on and maybe that refocusing too much did it.

I've had more relief from the anxiety med. but it's only a short term fix for now.

Keep taking if side effects not to bad, I was on sertraline 150mg for years, and it worked really well, no panic, no anxiety, felt good.

do you remember if you had a hard time getting on the drug

Think it was OK, actually I'm back on them now as having a bad time again. I came of them last Sept but the anxiety played up again last month. Start with a low dose I'd say to check they suit. Usual only side effect is a bit nausea. Not bad though. If they suit you, once you get the right dosage, will feel very well.
