I've been on zoloft 50mg for almost 7 weeks. for 5 days felt almost normal little to no anxiety and no depression. Past two days I feel back to square 1. im so frustrated as I was seeing light. is this normal. looking for some reassurance.

yes Lorin. This is a positive sign that the medication is working. You may experience highs and lows in recovery but your trajectory should be moving upwards. Try not to get too down by the lows and cherish the highs. You will get better x

Agree with what Jon said. When the medicine starts working and you begin to get better there will be some ups and downs. I remember speaking with my daughter who was 7 weeks in on Sertraline for depression and she had a day where she suddenly inexplicably felt very down after having good days. I told her to hang in there, and just try to get through the bad days. Soon the good days will outweigh the bad ones! And that's what happened. By 12 weeks, no more bad days!

I appreciate your responses. ive felt not myself for so long. I was feeling so good. now when I'm not anxious (which I am a lot) I'm upset cause I feel like I'm tired or flat. I really just wanna feel good. I feel like 7 weeks on 50mg I should feel more consistent.
