Zoloft nausea and dizziness

Posted , 5 users are following.

I am in 100mg of Zoloft for 3 weeks. I am finding the nausea and dizziness getting worse. I take it in the morning. Does anyone have and advice on if taking at night might help.  I am also taking clonazapam in the am as well. Very small dose. And advice is really appreciated

I take it at night. Tried morning before and it made things worse. Now that I'm at 150mg and things are stable, it feels like I can switch to mornings. I don't feel any difference after taking them anymore. It's a nice feeling.

I’ve been on 50 ml for 7 wks, I’m really feeling a calmness and still slightly dizzy. For me dizzy started going away around 5 weeks in. It’s worth it. Best luck. - x kat

P.S. I take S right when I get up in the morning. I find that I sleep well if I take it early in the day, though sometimes slightly dizzy in the morning but it goes away before the afternoon. Hugs, - x kat

Thanks fir the encouraging words. I think I may try it at night and see how it goes. I am looking forward to the day I feel like myself again. Every day seems a little bit better but still would like to wake up and not even think about this anxiety anymore. Thanks again fir your replies.

I started on 100mg for 3 weeks and then upped to 150mg. I had side effects all the way up to week 11 but it's only been around a week since I've had no side effects.

Ride it out, it will pass smile

Also I take mine at around 11pm. If I take it in the night I'll feel better in the morning.

Talk to your doctor about it. In my case, I had to take it at night instead because of the nausea. But hang on there, 3 weeks is too soon to give up the medication. Give it 2 months at least. Trust me, that nausea and dizziness will be gone as time goes by and the patience is worth at the end of the day. Try eating small portions of food. Try eating rice, fruits like papaya and apples...
