Zoloft or Wellbutrin

I have been on sertraline 100 mg for about 9 months and doing great. However, I have gained about 10 lbs, so my doctor suggested to slowly transition to Wellbutrin as this medication does not cause weight gain and works as well as Zoloft. II also got my LDL cholesterol borderline high which is kind of surprising since I eat lots of vegetables and fruits, non fat dairy and lean meats, but some studies revealed that Sertraline cab increase the LDL levels. The first 8 weeks on Zoloft were horendous, so I am wondering whether as i wean off zoloft while transitioning to the new med would make my life as miserable as it was back in May last year.

Any input or experience with this is highly appreciated.
