I'm afraid of this medicine. This is the first time ive ever had to take any medication daily. I don't like the reviews I've read on it and I don't want to become dependent on it or feel like I am out of control. So this is day 3 of me taking this medication and I want out. I'm taking this for anxiety and derealization feeling. But I don't feel anything yet. I feel like I'm not in control of myself, I do feel me not being as anxious as I normally am but I don't like the feeling of being on medication. I don't know what to do.. anyone else have any tips for me please?

It can take time before you start to see results. When I started on mine, it made me more anxious at first. I've been taking Zoloft for 15 years. I tried to wean off of it a few years ago but anxiety came back so I got back on it. I have heard of other things that can be tried that I didn't know about before starting Zoloft so I'm not certain how beneficial these are. There are certain supplements over the counter , exercise, healthy diet, biofeedback, neurofeedback are somethings that may be beneficial. Overall, Zoloft has helped me. It can take a few months to feel a difference.
