Are you prescribed like Xanax or Ativan or anything to help with the side effects? That's the only way I got through the anxiety was taking .25mg of Xanax not I barely have to take it!

Not good. Is it your doctor or psychiatrist? I had to change psychiatrists three ones cause two of them wouldn't call me back. I needed someone I could trust to get back with me.

Did you use Prozac as a bridge, in other words cross tapering, or did you abruptly switch from one to the other?  If the latter, it may be you are in withdrawal from Zoloft and the Prozac isn't covering it.

If this doesn't go away in a month you might need to reinstate a TINY amount of Zoloft, less than the minimum dose.  Talk to your doctor, though I don't have much faith these guys get that you can be in withdrawal from the one you came off even though you are now on another one.

It's not your fault.  I'm assuming your doctor led you here.  People will do a cross taper with Prozac, starting it at a low dose, maybe 20 mg, along with the other drug, do about a week of the two, and then rapidly taper off the first drug.  It may or may not work.  I wouldn't do this without the doctor's go ahead, though, since that means taking two serotonergic drugs with the risk of serotonin syndrome.  If your danged doctor would get back to you, ask him about adding back a small amount of Zoloft.

Psychiatrists know so much more about these medications than doctors. Doctors don't know much at all. So you should keep looking yourself for a psychiatrist one that you can trust. Look online. Look everywhere there will be one that accepts new patients. I called 20!i swear and they were all not accepting new patients. Then out of nowhere three were accepting patients. Just keep looking ! They know a lot more about this then your doctors doctors don't deal with depression and anxiety and all that, psychiatrists do
