Zopiclone and Sertraline

Been given Zopiclone to try and help with insomnia caused by Sertraline. Anyone else been given this?

Yep, withdrawing from it has caused all my problems, I was made to go cold turkey which obviously made things worse, just be very careful and use it with caution, basically can cause same problems as a benzo

how long did you take it for? ive been given 7 days worth.

I took it on and off for 12 years only about 2 mg a night though. It's just being aware it can be highly addictive . Don't think doctors tend to prescribe it long term now as more aware of problems it can cause. I was made to go cold turkey as new doctor refused to give me any more which is what caused the problems.

hi i take sertraline but my doc wont give me anything for my insommnia so you are lucky that way now it could be that iam 66 yrs old but would love some sleep 3 hours a night is not good xxx
