Zoplicon is highly addictive I would advise using it very short term.I had the same problem as you was prescibed this and became addicted. Be assured this is something you not want to add to your list of issues. good luck

When I was 16 I was having major sleeping issues due to stress so I finally went down to the walk in clinic and a doctor perscribed my 30 zopiclone. At first I was using it as perscribed until my friend told me I could get high from it. It all went down hill from there and by the end of it I was taking 20-40 pills a night. I found a doctor who would perscribe me 60 pills a month with 8 refills and I could go back whenever I wanted to get more. Sorry I'm not trying to freak you out or anything because honestly, zopiclone was the best medication for sleep I've ever used but if you're going to use it, make sure that your doctor isn't going to recklessly prescribe it to you. I was actually on both zoloft and zopiclone and they both worked very well for my anxiety and sleep. If you don't want to rely on medications for sleep then of course there's cognitive behavioural therapy, making sure you get lots of exercise, and a making a sleep schedule (waking up at the same time each day). You also have to eliminate caffeine and narcotics from you day, limit naps, and making sure your sleeping area is comfortable. Or you could ask your doctor for an anti-depressant like Seroquel which also helps with sleep (although it didn't work for me but I'm an exception since I have a very high tolerance to medications haha).

    Good luck!

Have you ever tried melatonin? My daughter takes it about everyday. Some brands I can take and some I can't. They make me nauseous.
